Greywater Workshop

The CLCA SFBA Education Committee is presenting a workshop on Greywater Friday, May 15, 9:00AM. The presenters are Sherri Osaka from Sustainable Landscape Designs and John Russell from Water Sprout. During the workshop, you will learn what grey water is and how you can use it to provide solutions for your customer's landscaping needs.

There will be information about permits required for grey water systems and efforts to simplify that permitting. You will see several examples of the different possible types of grey water systems and you will learn how to calculate the amount of available grey water and how to match that to the landscapes needs. You will receive the resources you need to design and implement your first system.

The workshop will be held in the new Environmental Horticulture lab room at Foothill College. Please bring $2 in quarters for parking, and bring you own cup for drinks. Snacks will be provided.To register: This workshop is limited to 40 participants, so register early. The CLCA/APLD/student registration rate is $30, for all others $40.
